And now the creative director of Totem Promo agency answers our lovely questions to all BFEF2018 speakers.


Do you classify yourself as a person of practice or theory?
Fundamentals are nice to have, but as a creative I constantly have to ignore theory to come up with something truly unique. So, I am a person of practice.

If you had a genie, what would your three wishes be?
Peace, love & unity. It sound cliché, but that's the only way to go for a decent person, having things that is happening around the world in mind.

What is an area of your life in which you lack courage?
For me it’s really simple to say “yes”. I sometimes feel, that I have to say “no” more, which requires the courage to let people down. I hate it.

What childhood dreams have you brought into your life?
I always dream big, so most of my childhood fantasies are still on the way. One of the recent achievements is creating my own family. I am incredibly proud of it.

If you imagine that an event is an ensemble, what instrument are you playing?
If an event is an ensemble I am a composer, which creates the music.

If you could be invisible, where would you go?
Shopping. I would love to turn invisible for doing everyday stuff. It’s strange, that I love attention when I am working as a master of ceremonies or on stage, but I hate it in my casual life. 

What three things would you take with you to an uninhabited island?
Notebook & pencil for writing and a sharp knife for survival.

What is the best, most valuable advice you have been given?
I actually have a collection of advises that I try to follow for the last 11 years already. They are all on the same track: 
“Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free To Wear Sunscreen”

Which website do you open very first thing in the morning?
YouTube or Reddit to check out whats happening around the world.

What are the main changes that have occurred in the views about the industry over the past 5 years?
I honestly have no idea. I am young blood at entertainment and tend to only look forward. 

Why is it important for you to be at the Baltic For Events?
To share my views on Lithuanian event industry and discuss this mater with colleagues from different agencies is a unique opportunity. Competing agencies do not meet each other casually. Another great aspiration is to widen event knowledge on the Baltic basis. I had a great time last year, even though I wasn’t presenting, so hopefully, even greater event is waiting ahead this year!

What you will talk about and why?
I will represent small Lithuanian experiential marketing agency Totem Promo on Lithuanian panel. We strongly believe that brand has to make an impact on peoples feelings and there is no good method or even a reason to try to calculate it on short time basis. True brand loyalty is not grown overnight.
