RSVP festival's first Attend awards

The second edition of RSVP, the only regional festival specialized exclusively for the event industry, was held in Zagreb’s Plaza Event Center (ex. Hypo Event Center) on 7 and 8 February 2017, and has attracted more than 500 event professionals and representatives of industries related to the organization of events. The two day program was devoted to technologies that make organization of events easier, and the event tourism. All this was covered through 18 lectures and 2 round tables, as well as 6 workshops where participants could learn more about individual segments of event organization.

The participants had the chance to hear the success stories of positioning the Netherlands as one of the leading destinations when it comes to business events, and Bratislava which has successfully developed conference tourism. At the round table How to place Croatia on the map of event organizers, panelists commented that Croatia should not be afraid of mega events because only through practice it is possible to master all the complexity of such events. They also touched on regulations related to the hosting of foreign artists and pointed out that it is good as it is significantly simpler than abroad, providing the country income from events.
